We are looking to purchase a brand new boat with the money raised through this scheme and the winner of the raffle will win the right to both name the boat, and to put their advertising on it*. Sponsorship of this nature is normally worth thousands of pounds!

Whilst this is of course a lottery for the grand prize, every entrant will earn the right to have their logo placed on one of our considerable number of blades, this type of sponsorship alone is worth the entry fee of £250

We are currently ranked as the number 2 university rowing club in the UK (BUSA, March 2007) and have been improving consistently over the past few years, and we do not intend to stop now! The club is enjoying new found successes and we need YOU to help take us forward!

What else do you get?

As well as the immediate competition and obvious huge rewards, we will put your name on our website where it will be seen by a large number of people. We race at up to a dozen presitgious races per year, at each event there are official and unofficial photographers and their pictures appear in national, local and university press on a regular basis- with your name featuring! Local businesses will also see the benefits of catching the 'student vote' as your brand awareness will be heightened on campus. You will be invited to our Varsity race against Loughborough and Warwick Universities in the Summer season.

The lucky winner will be given a huge amount of exposure in as many publications as we can get, from the national rowing press ('Rowing & Regatta') to the University paper Redbrick (30,000 circulation) and will be treated as a major club sponsor with invitations to see us compete at Henley Royal Regatta as well as all the previously mentioned possibilities!
