Financial Support

We are currently looking for new sponsors for the club. For details on how you or your company could sponsor the club, please visit the 'sponsors' link or email the club at rowing@bugs.bham.ac.uk

If you are an Alumnus, or simply a friend of the club- we are looking into various schemes which would allow you to contribute to the club on an annual or even monthly basis to help us develop.

There are two massive projects in the pipeline for which we need your help, no matter how big or small, every penny is going to make a huge difference.

1. We are redeveloping our Boat House in Worcester. This is a very expensive project, but being done on a shoestring. We need anything that can be donated either money, or materials to alleviate the stress on the budget and help us create a facility to lift us higher in the top 10 of University Rowing Clubs.
2. Last year our Women's 1st VIII reached the finals of Women's Henley Regatta in a borrowed VIII because none of ours are good enough! We therefore must purchase one (value ~ £16,000) before Henley this year so that they can have it and train in it, and hopefully race in it to win!

We of course always have smaller projects on the go which need help- if you have a smaller amount of money available but would like to help- we need to replace our Development Squad fleet of boats, and we need to purchase a fleet of pairs to develop club technique (approx. cost of a pair ~£5,000)
